Tipperary and Killarney

A much quieter day for the team with two runners in Killarney and two runners in Tipperary.

Starting in Killarney, BOSTON QUEEN tries her hand in handicap company for the first time. She stayed on well to pick up 6th in a maiden at Downpatrick the last day but will need to improve from that run. Sam Ewing rides.

WILLIAM BUTLER makes his debut over fences in the 3m beginners chase. He’s proven himself over this trip over hurdles and has been schooling well over the larger obstacles at home. Sam Ewing rides.

We have graded action in Tipperary.

In the Grade 3 novice hurdle we saddle ARCH EMPIRE. He out ran his odds the last day to finish second behind Davy Crockett in Listowel and could put in another fine performance here under Jack Kennedy.

PIED PIPER is back in novice company today as he contests the Grade 3 novice chase. He’s none the worse for his mishap in the Kerry National last time out and we’re hoping this is a good opportunity for him to get back on the scoreboard. Jack Kennedy rides.
