A few more winter horses come out to play today as we have 6 runners for a lovely afternoon in Kildare.

In the opener we have WODHOOH who is already a winner over hurdles. She is a nice filly who looks like she’ll come on for her racing and will soon like a step up in trip. This is a good race and hopefully she can pick up a cheque. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

We have two runners in the 2m2f hurdle of which there are only three runners. ANDY DUFRESNE is changing tactics today and the tongue tie is off and cheekpieces fitted and he switches back to hurdles. He’ll be ridden by Mark Walsh. ZANAHIYR returns to action here with his old companion Jack Kennedy in the saddle, hopefully this can be another good year for the consistent performer.

In the handicap hurdle over 2m7f we have STUZZIKINI and SEA ASTER. Stuzzikini has been very consistent this season and has cheekpieces fitted for the first time here. He will be ridden by Jordan Gainford. Sea Aster seems on an upward curve and she has first time blinkers on for this event along with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

Finally in the bumper we have DAY’S A DAWNING who we hope can improve from her run the last day. Josh Williamson rides and claims 7lbs.
