We’re split between Navan and Punchestown today.

Starting with the national hunt racing in Punchestown, ARCH EMPIRE and TIMELESS TREATY are our first runners of the day in the Ladbrokes Novice Hurdle. Arch Empire was second in a novice hurdle at Killarney last time out and can hopefully go one better to get a second career win under his belt. Jake Coen rides and claims 3lb. TIMELESS TREATY was a winner on his track debut when he took the maiden hurdle at Down Royal and looks as though he will shape up into a nice sort going forward. Paddy Cleary knows him well and takes 7lb off his back.

GENERAL HUBBLE takes his chances in the 3m handicap chase. A previous winner over course and distance 3 runs ago, he bids to get back on the scoreboard again today with Jake Coen in the plate.

POWER OF WORDS is a non runner.

SON OF ANARCHY steps back up in trip here today as he contests the 2m3f maiden hurdle. A point to point winner on debut, he has shaped up nicely over hurdles and looks in with a great chance of getting that all important win under his belt. Kevin Sexton takes the ride.

Our final runner in Punchestown is BUTCHERS BILL in Div1 of the handicap hurdle. He showed a good account of himself when stepping up to 2m7f last time out in Naas and should go well in the hands of Finn Brickley who claims a useful 7lb.

Over in Navan we saddle 3 runners. MISS GITANA in the 1m6f handicap. Beaten just under 3 lengths last time out in Gowran Park, she’s in good form at home and could be a big player today under Declan McDonogh.

In the 1m5f handicap we saddle two runners. WHISPERING HOPES reverts back to the flat after a stint over hurdles and should run well under Chris Hayes. LIGHTNING LEGS is having her first run back this season after a winter break and will come on for the run. Declan McDonogh rides.
