Today we head across to Punchestown where the going is now Heavy after a week of non-stop rainfall.

LIGHTKEEPER brings a nice string of form into this race having placed twice to date in maiden hurdles. this will be the softest it has been for him but it looks wide open and he looks like he could improve for time with Jack Kennedy booked to ride.

For the maiden hurdle over 2m4f we have BIG STAGE who was beaten in a bumper the last day but will be better suited to hurdling and then again more so when he goes chasing. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride and we hope can get in the frame.

LUCKY STORM goes in the mares maiden hurdle as her first start after a break. She can be a little hit and miss but has a first time tongue tie which should help her and Jack Kennedy is booked to ride.

Another with a first time tongue strap is SEE A STRIDE who has her second start in a handicap. She will need to improve to feature but Jack is booked to ride.

Our final runner of the day is SERMANDZARAK in the bumper. This is his first start on the track and will be a great learning process for him. He looks nice and early and can hopefully land a blow on debut under Gleeson’s 5lb claim.
