This looks a really exciting day for the team as we kick off in the cross country where we have HARDLINE. This horse has sprotted wings since joining the point to point division and looks electric over cross country fences. He will be forward going in this and we have drafted in the maestro of cross country racing in Keith Donoghue.

Moving back to the main track we have GALLYHILL in the rated novices chase. He didn’t get home the last day in Thurles so has been dropped back in trip. Sam Ewing has been booked to ride.

For the National trial we have a whole team of runners. COKO BEACH, DEATH DUTY, MILAN NATIVE and DEFI BLEU. All of these has strong claims for the national and are stout stayers. Coko Beach ran a cracker in the Thyestes and the union with Ben Harvey has been renewed. Milan Native and Defi Bleu will probably come on for their respective runs here and death duty looks off a nice mark with Mikey O’Sullivan booked to ride.

For the Listed mares hurdle we have HARMONYA MAKER and SHECOULDBEANYTHING. Harmonya Maker is establishing herself as one of the leading mares in this sphere and is the pick of Jordan Gainford. Shecouldbeanything ran very well against the boys the last day and earned herself blacktype. She seems a filly on the rise and at this stage very well named, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

We have two runners in the maiden hurdle. ABBEYDALE put in another good run the last day but could be better suited by softer ground. Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride. JEEPYDOFF MEEL ran another good race the last day and looks very useful over hurdles he will be ridden by Sam Ewing. Zefiro Dodville is second reserve.

Next up is a handicap hurdle over 2m7f. COVENTRY looks off a workable mark here but we have decided to claim off him with Danny Giligan who’s 7lbs will be very valuable here. BODHISATTVA has been stringing together very good bits of form lately and this could be his day with Jordan Gainford in the saddle.

For the bumper we have new recruit QUANTUM STORM. This horse was second in his point to point and has been doing well at home. He could be a nice horse in the making and Jamie Codd has been booked to ride.

Finally and perhaps the most important race of the day for some members of our team is the Up the Yard challenge where we have Catriona Bolger. Cat as she is better know would be very well know in racing circles and is passionate about the horses in her charge here at Cullentra, no one was more happy about Mount Ida’s stunning Cheltenham win than Cat. She has been putting in the work at home and looks ready to have her first ride on the track. She will partner GEVREY who should travel well into the race and has a bit of talent about him. There will be no obstacles in the way of him today and should have the gears needed to go well. The whole team wishes Cat and Gevrey the very best of luck and hopefully it’ll be a day to remember.
