It is the beginning of the end of the 24/25 season. TIMMY TUESDAY and SLANAGAIBHGOLEIR go in the Albert Bartlett triple crown series final handicap hurdle. Timmy Tuesday is out of the handicap by 5lbs so we are claiming off him with Josh Williamson taking away 7lbs. Slanagaibhgoleoir has first time cheekpieces on here and will be ridden by Mark Walsh.
For the Listed handicap hurdle we have SAMUI. He has a nice mark to work with here but wasn’t the best the last day. He will be ridden by Josh Williamson who claims 7lbs.
WHINNEY HILL goes in the Grade 1 Novice hurdle. He will probably find this a challenge but he comes here relatively fresh so can hopefully deny his odds under Sam Ewing.
Next up is the Grade 1 Champion Novice chase where we have STELLAR STORY. He has been the bridesmaid on a couple of occasions this season and is up to this standard. It looks a good renewal of this race and Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.
We have three in the Goffs bumper, LINCALL, RECKLESS and SANTO SOSPIR. Santo Sospir represents last years winning connections and jockey. He is already a winner in testing conditions at this venue and can hopefully deliver again. Reckless was 4th on debut in a bumper and should prefer the better ground on offer here with a 7lbs claim care of Josh Williamson. Finally we have Lincall who will have a first time tongue tie. He looks a nice individual who we will claim off with Josh Halford taking away 7lbs.
Wrapping up the day is COUTACH in the bumper. He was a yearling purchase from France so should be forward enough. He looks a nice type for the future and will have champion amateur in the saddle Paddy Mullins.
