Today we return to Navan for a great national hunt card where we have 13 runners going to post.

In the opener, a maiden hurdle just shy of 2 miles we have FAUX FUR. She looked useful in bumpers and has her first run over hurdles in open competition. She gets a fillies allowance and Jack Kennedy is booked to ride. Jack Du Large is third reserve.

Its a very small field for the next where we have AMIR KABIR and SET POINT facing only 3 other rivals. Amir Kabir had a nice spin in a charity race not too long ago so is ready to go here. He managed to pick up black type when second in a listed hurdle last season. He returned in Graded company in Galway over the summer but this looks an easier ask and he will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle. Set Point was slowly away at Laytown and is better than that result. That took nothing away from him and he will have Jordan Gainford in the saddle.

GORDONS AURA is our only runner in the ladies handicap hurdle where we have Georgie Benson booked to ride. This horse has had a few good results this season and hopefully her 7lbs claim will help.

UP AND OUT goes in the 80-102 handicap hurdle. She goes off a really workable mark here and has been very close without getting her head in front. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

For division II of the 80-102 handicap hurdle we have EMOTIONAL DAMAGE and BE MY HERO. Emotional damage has her first start back after her summer holiday. She seems a sassy mare but we have Jordan Gainford booked to ride who should be well able. Be My Hero put in a very good performance the last day and can hopefully go one better today with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

For the maiden hurdle over 2m4f we have ARABIAN DIAMOND and IMPERIAL CLASS. Arabian Diamond has had some good form since his runaway bumper win. Hopefully it won’t be long till he breaks his maiden especially with Jack Kennedy in the saddle. Imperial Class is having her first run for us in this and she was second in a mares point to point. This will be a bit stiffer than that but hopefully she runs well under Jordan Gainford.

APPIAN WAY will be our sole representative in the 80-102 handicap hurdle. Appian Way looks to be off a nice mark here and holds some good form. Jack Kennedy rides. Dunleer Phoenix is third reserve.

Finally we have three runners in the bumper with DEE CAPO leading the way. This beautifully bred horse was 6th in the sales bumper and he has strengthened up over the summer. Hopefully he has made into a good horse with Harry Swan booked to ride and claim 5lbs. WHISPERING JESSE is a daughter of Youzain who came to us from France, hopefully she can run well on debut with Josh Williamson in the saddle claiming 7lbs. YORKSHIRE ESCAPE tries again in bumpers but she is a great spin for Hannah Smullen who claims 7lbs.
