We send a big team to Navan where the dream is still alive to chase the champsionship.

In the opening maiden hurdle we have 3 runners. FAMOUS FIGURE ran a cracker the last day and can hopefully emulate that with Jack Kennedy in the saddle. NEWBROOK DIAMOND has first time blinkers on to try and get one over the post with Danny Gilligan in the saddle. Finally we have YOUKNOWTHECODE who might be better suited to handicaps, he has Kevin Sexton in the saddle.

Next on the agenda is the mares maiden hurdle where we have DISCO DANCER and TROPICAL TWIST. Disco Dancer hasn’t quite got the ground she has needed lately but this spring flourish should help dry out the ground an we have James Smith booked to ride claiming 5lbs.

Next up in the staying novice hurdle we have SANTO SOSPIR and KALYPSO’CHANCE. Santo Sospir has been improving and the step back in class should be a bonus with Jack Kennedy in the saddle, Kalypso’chance has been given the chance to freshen and that could give him a helping hand here under Josh Williamson who claims 5lbs.

Another maiden hurdle follows, this time over 2m4f where we have HAVEANOTHERTRY and LORD TOBIN. Lord Tobin has a first time tongue tie on here and Josh Williamson to give him a good chance of regaining his form. Haveanother try ran very well in Aintree and can hopefully take another step forward under Jack Kennedy.

There is a nice pot on offer in the Listed handicap chase final where we have KISH BANK and GRINGO D’AUBRELLE. Gringo has got back into the swing of things nicely this season and has a really nice weight with the addition of a further 5lbs off with Michael Kenneally. KISH BANK didn’t get his chance to run Cheltenham with this as his backup and Kevin Healy in the saddle claiming 7lbs.

The penultimate race on the card is the Kilberry Handicap chase where we have SOMEONES WISH who has a string of 8’s by his name. He fits nicely into this event and will have Paddy Cleary booked to ride who claims 7lbs.

Finally rounding off the day is FLYING ACE in the bumper. This horse is a real eyecatcher and should do well for a drop back in trip from his point to point. This is a very open race where we have Harry Swan booked to ride
