We’re racing in Naas today with 8 runners.

In the opener, the novice handicap chase, we run COQOLINO. He’s one of 3 in the race for owner JP McManus. He’s stepped back up in trip today after pulling up over Christmas in testing conditions over 2m3f. Jack Kennedy takes the ride today.

We saddle 3 runners in the 4yo maiden hurdle. LEADING LION has been well held on both his starts over hurdles to date. We’re hoping he can finish a bit closer today under Jody McGarvey. BARRIER has finished midfield on both starts to date and could be capable of running a big race with a low weight due to the filly’s allowance and Danny Gilligan’s 5lb claim. NDAAWI is the pick of our runners. He has showed up well on his two starts over hurdles to date and has proved he copes well with the testing conditions. Jack Kennedy rides.

GOLDEN JOY represents us in the Limestone Lad Hurdle. He was well held in the Grade 3 WillowWarm hurdle at Fairyhouse at the beginning of December but that came quickly enough after his yard debut and he’s certainly come on for the run and wouldn’t be without a chance in this contest. Jack Kennedy rides.

In the Grade 3 novice chase, COOL SURVIVOR takes his chances. Its a hot contest and he once again faces Embassy Gardens who beat him by 22 lengths last time out. Jack Kennedy rides.

In the maiden hurdle we run CLEATUS POOLAW. He’s been knocking on the door for a win having finished 2nd on all of his starts under rules to date and we’re hoping he can get his head in front today. Jack Kennedy rides.

Our final runner is BIG STAGE in the bumper. He won his sole start between the flags back in November and makes his racecourse debut today for new connections. He should run well under Harry Swan.
