We’re back on home turf today in Naas as we head to Kildare with six runners. Staring things off for us is CHEMICAL ENERGY in the Grade 3 Novice Chase. This horse was last seen bolting up at Cheltenham and has been given a freshener before this. He carries a penalty for that win and will be ridden by Davy Russell.

Two runners go forward for the maiden hurdle over an extended 1m7f. GORDONS AURA improved the last day and looks to be on an upward trajectory and can hopefully keep up the good work with Davy in the saddle. TEAGARDEN JAZZ has been going well but she gets a fillies allowance here so can hopefully make the most of this and she will have Denis O’Regan in the saddle.

Another maiden hurdle follows for us with KANSAS CITY STAR taking on PRESENT SOLDIER. Kansas City Star was stepped up to Grade 1 company the last day so this will be a welcomed drop in class for him and he will have Davy Russell in the saddle. Present Soldier was an expensive point to point purchase who is having his first start for us and can hopefully live up to expectations with Denis O’Regan in the saddle.

Wrapping up the weekend runners we have WILL DO in the bumper. This will be his second star in bumpers so he is a bit more battle hardened now. He looks a very nice horse for the future so it is very early days for him still and Harry Swan is booked to ride and claims 7lbs.
