Kicking off the bank holiday weekend we head to Listowel where SWING DAVIS will face stiff competition in the mares hurdle. She wears first time cheekpieces and will be ridden by Josh Williamson who will be claiming.
PENNY EXPRESS goes in the maiden hurdle and we hope he can improve from his last run where he had pulled up. Josh will be riding and hopefully his claim can help.
In the next maiden hurdle we have ROYAL APPROVAL who makes his return to the track after a break. He will need the run and Ricky Doyle takes the ride.
CHANCEAWETMORNING is top weight in the 2m4f handicap hurdle and will be another ride for Josh. He has been on a roll lately and climbed the handicap so hopefully his star can continue to rise.
In the fillies bumper we have the beautifully bred THE PRESIDENT. She will hopefully improve for the run and may be better suited to hurdles and will be a ride for Harry Swan.
Over in Tramore we have two fillies in the mares beginners chase DISCO DANCER and EMILY LOVE. Disco Dancer will need to improve to land a blow here but she is over fences for the first time and will have Danny Gilligan in the saddle. Emily Love was very unlucky the last day so has another try over fences and Sam takes the ride.
WESTERN SHORES has her first start on track in the maiden hurdle and it will be interesting to see how she gets on in this open looking race. Sam Ewing has been booked to ride.
FABHCUN goes in the 2m5f maiden hurdle and he has first time cheekpieces. It looks a tricky sort of race where Sam Ewing has been booked to ride.
Finally we have C’EST ELLE in the bumper with Josh Halford claiming 7lbs. She looks a lovely sort who can hopefully go well.
