It was brilliant to double up yesterday and we head across to Kilbeggan today where WESTEREN NOTE is the first runner of the afternoon in an opportunity maiden hurdle. This horse has one run under his belt which should serve him well. Jake Coen has been booked to ride and can hopefully get the best out of him.

COOKE’S LASS looks to add to her so-far unbeaten record. She is a good looking daughter of Authorized so should appreciate the trip here. She is by far the least exposed of the three runner field and Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride.

Next up is BEAUFORT SCALE and ST CUTHBERTS CAVE in the beginners chase. St Cuthberts Cave was 3rd last time out over hurdles and a switch to fences could be the making of him with Sam Ewing booked to ride. Another having his first start over fences is Beaufort Scale. These bigger obstacles should suit and Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride.

Rounding off the day in the bumper we have RAPID REDEMPTION. This son of Doyen has gone well at home and can hopefully make a smart debut here. He doesn’t have any track experience which a few of the others have so hopefully that won’t hinder him too much. Harry Swan has been booked to ride.
