It’s day 4 of the festival where we have another crack at the Galway hurdle. BROTHER WALFRID is now our sole runner in the Guinness Novice hurdle. He has a first time tongue tie and put in a strong showing the last day when victorious. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

For the Galway hurdle we have 4 runners. EL CAIROS could be anything and this will be his first run in a handicap having dropped down from Grade 1 company. He has a tongue tie fitted for the first time and is the pick of Jack Kennedy. NDAAWI won this last year albeit in the stewards room, we claim off him due to his high mark where James Smith is booked to ride taking away 5lbs. CASHELDALE LAD comes here fresh and ran a cracker in this last year and has shot up the handicap due to that so we have Josh Williamson claiming 5lbs. Finally we have BARBIZON who is right at the bottom of the weights, he could spring a surprise here with Josh Halford claiming 7lbs.

Our sole flat runner is HYGGE in the Rockshore refreshingly Irish handicap over an extended mile. This horse ran well to win his only flat voyage to date but this is a stronger contest then that. He is very consistent and has Declan McDonogh in the saddle.
