It was great to get a winner on the board yesterday and we head back with 7 runners. DAD SEZ is our first runner of the day in the maiden hurdle. He didn’t have the most luck in a point to point so tries under rules with Jack Kennedy getting the spin.

We have a bit of a wait for our next runner where we have ARDEEN JOY in the mares handicap hurdle. This is a step up in class for Ardeen Joy and she was very good on her last start and may be a dark horse in this under Jack Kennedy.

For the feature race of the day, the Galway Plate we have four runners. At the top of the weights we have THREE CARD BRAG who we claim off with Kevin Healy. The 7lbs claim will be very important here and this horse will want every drop of rain. NOWWHATDOYOUTHINK is a new recruit and has his first run for us. He has brilliant form and looks like a horse on the up and will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle. MAXXUM has a brilliant record over hurdles and that experience can hopefully help him here under Danny Gilligan. KING OF KINGSFIELD was top notch in his day and has shown his usefulness over fences earlier in the year and we claim off him with Josh Halford claiming 7lbs. Boston Rover is second reserve but won’t get in.

Our final runner of the day will be WACKESTONE in the2m handicap. The switch back to the flat should suit and hopefully boost his form with Declan McDonogh in the saddle.
