It’s that time of year again where the season starts to get a bit of a move on. We arrive to the first day of the festival with CHORTAL and ETERNAL ECHO leading the charge in what looks to be a very hot novice hurdle for 4yos. ETERNAL ECHO has been freshened up for this and will be the mount of Jack Kennedy. CHORTAL comes here with very good form and we will claim off him with Josh in the saddle taking away 7lbs.

Lygon Lad will be a non-runner.

For the 2yo maiden we have FARABOVE THE LIMIT who will come on for his debut run and looks like one that should mature in time. He will be ridden by Declan McDonogh.

In the QR maiden we have FAMILIAR DREAMS who should suit the conditions. She is a smart filly but lacks a bit of experience out of the stalls but has plenty of ability on the level and will have Josh Williamson in the saddle claiming 7lbs.

Finally in the bumper we have COUTACH and LUPIN DU CHENET. Coutach has had one start in a bumper so far in his career but has been given a bit more time to mature. He will be ridden by Harry Swan. Lupin du chenet looks a smart horse in the making and this could be a stepping stone in his future with Josh Williamson claiming 7lbs
