We have three non-runners in Galway today with the easing ground. WILL DO goes in the opening beginners chase. His form to date has been good and he had been aimed at the Munster National. It will be a tough test today and Danny has been booked to ride.

Ma Jacks Hill is a non-runner.

BROTHER WALFRID will be our sole runner in the rated novice hurdle as Direct approach is now a non-runner. The ground should be a benefit to him here and he will be ridden by Danny Gilligan.

DOCTOR ELVIS has been a bit hit and miss but he returns from a break in good form and we hope he can deliver on his early promise under Danny Gilligan.

Ellen Imlach is a non-runner

MAVERICK MACK is our first runner over in Wexford where he has first time cheekpieces on and will be the mount of Sam Ewing.

Next up is SCALPNAGOON in the handicap chase. He always runs a good race and hasn’t been out of the top 5. He should suit the conditions and has Sam booked to ride.

SOUL ASYLUM could be a lovely horse in the making and we hope that a hurdle will be the evidence of that. He had some nice runs last season but hopefully he’ll improve further for jumping under Jack. Llem’s just got tired the last day and should improve here with Sam booked to ride.

HUNTIN BOOTS is another nice horse that goes hurdling for the first time this season. He is bred for the job and this looks like it can be a competitive race.

DUNSY ROCK is a real trier and it was great to see her win last season. Now against her own sex and returning here fresh we hope she has a decent chance under Jack.
