Some of our team spent the weekend in Perth in preparation for today’s meeting where we will have four runners. CHORTAL starts the team off in the Auto Services Perth 24 hour recovery novices hurdle over 2 miles. This horse has been in excellent form of late, finding himself on the podium on his last 5 starts. Sean Bowen has been booked to ride and hopefully the good luck continues.

Our next challenger is LIGHTKEEPER in the Novices limited handicap chase over 2m4f. This looks a slightly more competitive race where it is hard to pick between the top of the betting. We have to give plenty of weight away as we go off a mark of 127. We would be hoping for a good run where Sean Bowen has been booked to ride.

HARDY DIAMOND looks for a crumb of redemption in the handicap chase. She ran rather disappointingly here on her last venture across the sea but is now a last time out winner. She could be on the up so hopefully she and Sean can go well.

Rounding off the trip to Perth we have THEMANINTHEBOOTS in the handicap hurdle over 3 mile. This is another horse who looks to be improving and would be a great one to see succeed. This will be another ride for Sean Bowen.

Over in Galway we have PAS PEUR DE TOI who is having his first start for us. He is a lovely big type who is making a belated start but looks like one who can hopefully go on to bigger things with Jack Kennedy booked to ride. BOSTON QUEEN also goes in this and will have her third start over hurdles qualifying her for handicap company where she might have more joy.

It’s a small field for the Deacy Gilligan hurdle where we have YEATS STAR. He ran a very creditable race the last day to come home third. This is a very mixed bag and a small field should help and we have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

For the beginners chase we have TIMMY TUESDAY. A third last time out will put him in good form for this but he can be a bit hit and miss. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

SEA ASTER goes in the handicap chase. This mare has been a very good servant and manages to run well. It looks a competitive race where hopefully she can put in another good performance with Jack in the saddle.
