It was great to get a few winners on the board yesterday and wrap things up with an impressive winner of the bumper.

Today we don’t venture as far and head to Fairyhouse with six runners and our first being THREE CARD BRAG in the novices hurdle over 2m3f. Adrian Heskin has flown over for the ride. He has some excellent form and looks like a lovely horse for the future.

For the maiden hurdle we have two runners FIRM FOOTINGS and NEIGH BOTHA. It would’ve been nice to see this divide but alas the two will have to take each other on. Firm Footings will be having his third crack at maiden hurdles and has finished reasonably close on both occasions to date, Davy Russell takes the ride. Neigh Botha had excuses the last day and can hopefully bounce back here with Sam Ewing in the saddle.

Another pair of horses do battle in the mares maiden hurdle over 2m3f. FRUIT BLOSSOM is currently for lease and she ran very well on stable debut when finishing 6th. We’ve chosen to claim off her and Carl Millar takes the ride taking off 7lbs. GRANOS GIRL is having her second run for connections. The ground was bottomless in Limerick on her debut which may not have suited but she has race experience now and has Sam Ewing in the saddle.

Finally our last runner of the afternoon is SO DES FLOS in another maiden hurdle. This horse ran very well on debut and deserves to improve from that. This should be a slightly less competitive race here today and Davy Russell takes the ride.
