For the first day of a two day meeting in Downpatrick we start with a mares maiden hurdle with KENISIA SPORT and MILESFROMTHEHONK. Kenisa scored the last day and hopefully that has set her on the right track with a bit more experience under her belt, Kevin Sexton has been booked to ride. Milesfromthehonk ran accordingly on debut and can hopefully improve now for her second start with Finn Brickley in the saddle claiming 7lbs.

CHORTAL has put together some nice runs now and we claim off him with Paddy Cleary who has had 3 wins so far this summer. His 7lbs claim should serve us well.

GINA MOON is having her debut in the Cullentra Racing Club for the afternoon. She has nice form and can hopefully go well with Harry Swan booked to ride in this QR handicap hurdle.

Having his first start over fences is Butchers Bill. His pedigree suggests he should be better over the larger obstacles and we have James Smith in the saddle claiming 5lbs.

GENERAL HUBBLE makes a quick return to the track and will be partnered by Kevin Sexton. It’s a low grade race where he can hopefully go well.

Finally in the bumper we have KAMIKAZ DU PLESSIS who ran very well on yard debut and can hopefully go one better here with Harry Swan booked to ride.
