We only have one runner in the opener now as First Ascent is now a non-runner. BOSTON QUEEN has her 3rd run in this maiden hurdle and she may have a bit more luck in handicaps once she is qualified. She has Jordan Gainford booked to ride.

Next up is NO MORE SILVER in this smaller runner handicap hurdle. She has shown some sparkle in maiden hurdles and if she goes off that form she could have every chance here with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

For the Rated Novice hurdle we have two runners, BOSTON RAJJ and PENNY PERFECT. It is another small field with just 6 runners. Penny was a winner the last day around here and looks one that will enjoy any step up in trip. She is the mount of Jack Kennedy. BOSTON RAJJ has been a busy horse this season and the ground might just start to go against him now. He is the top weight and has Danny Gilligan in the saddle.

We have a triplet of horses in the Beginners chase – GINA MOON, STRETCHEMOUT and LIGHTNING LEGS. Stretchemout was a winner of her point to point so we hope she can go well now that she has her first run over fences under rules with Jack Kennedy booked to ride. LIGHTNING LEGS was very good the last day and came home 2nd. This will be a big ask with Sam Ewing booked to ride. Finally we have GINA MOON who has plenty of experience and can hopefully put that to god good use.

Our Racing Club will be busy as they have two runners in the 2m7f handicap chase. HARDY DIAMOND doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of Perth so we’ll put that run behind her and she can follow in the footsteps of her Kilbeggan run with Jack Kennedy. OSSIFER HOPS benefits from blinkers for the second time. He improved the last day with their addition and will be ridden by Sam Ewing.

TROPICAL TWIST goes in the bumper over 2m2f. It will be her first run and we claim off her with Josh Williamson who takes away a valuable 7lbs. Hopefully they can have a good debut.
