We head up North today with 11 runners with the first being VALSORPRESA in the maiden hurdle over 2m2f. This horse has loads of experience which should serve him well here with Jack Kennedy booked to ride.

For the second maiden hurdle we have PALLAS ATHENE and HEY WHATEVER. Pallas has first time cheekpieces on here which we hope can bring out the best in her with Jack booked to ride. Hey Whatever gets a weight allowance here as she is only 4yos and will have Sam Ewing in the saddle.

BE MY HERO may finally get the ground he wants here as the rain has stayed away for the most part. It is a big and competitive field where he goes off a workable mark with Jack booked to ride.

Another competitive race follows with GAYE WINNIE and TOWNHILL PENNY going in the 80-102 handicap hurdle. Gaye Winnie returns from a break and will have Jordan Gainford in the saddle while Townhill Penny also returns to action with Sam Ewing riding.

TULLYBEG has had to wait for conditions to improve and may finally get a run in the Ulster National with FRONTAL ASSAULT returning to form in the Irish National the last day when 4th. Another in the mix for this is the mare JUMPING JET who we will claim off with Carl Millar who gets on very well with her.

In the final race of the day we have DUFFLE COAT and RINGDUFFERIN. Duffers has come very close on three occasions now and just needs a bit more to find the line first. Jack Kennedy is booked. Ringdufferin returns after a break and will be the mount of Jordan Gainford.
