Today we head up north with some nice horses looking to take the next steps in their career and we start off with two such horses in the first maiden hurdle over 2m1f. DOCTOR BRAVO did very well latest over hurdles where he came 2nd after winning on debut in his bumper. This looks a very competitive race and he will be ridden by Davy Russell. RINGDUFFERIN runs for local connections and will also be having his second run over hurdles here, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

Another two go forward in the rated novices hurdle over 2m1f. AN MHI has run into two very nice horse on his latest two starts but has run well in defeat. Today he will be ridden by Davy Russell. CALDWELL DIAMOND was disappointing the last day in Hereford and was very unsuited by the ground there that day Jordan Gainford is booked to ride today.

For the mares handicap hurdle, Davy Russell is back in the saddle riding in his fathers colours. This mare has been running very well this season and hopefully this is an opportunity for her to take another W.

The rated novice chase comes next where we have another two runners in the shape of IRISH BLAZE and SLIGE DALA. Irish Blaze ran ok on his chase debut when finishing fourth the last day in Limerick. This is a nice small field for him and he will be ridden by Jordan Gainford. Slige Dala switches back to chasing after finishing midfield in a hurdle over Christmas. The drying ground will be to his favour and Sam Ewing is booked to ride.

BALLYKEEL has his first start in handicap company where we will be claiming with Corey McGivern taking off 7lbs. His form has been very good but hopefully he can get his head over the line in front.

Finally in the bumper we have NO TIME TO WAIT who showed a great turn around from his point to point form to finish third on track debut. That should put him in good stead for this with Jamie Codd.
