We head down the country with 4 runners today with two going forward in the opener; a maiden hurdle over 2m.5f. These races will be open to Jockeys who had less than 15 winners during last season, giving many young upstarts a chance on the main stage. OPEN APPROACH is having his first run on the track. This looks a very open race but it may help to have some experience which our other runner CLANOKRE LASS has although it was in a bumper. Calum Hogan takes the ride and claims 5lbs.

Moving forward to the 2m maiden hurdle we have HOLY JOE. This horse unseated the last day and will be better suited to handicaps which he will hopefully qualify for after today. James Smith takes the ride for the first time and claims 5lbs.

Our last runner of the afternoon is FARREN GLORY in the Bulmers Strawberry and Lime hurdle as King of Kingsfield is now a non-runner. Farren Glory is a classy individual and his 3rd the other day will have set him up nicely here. Thecompanysergeant will be a big danger as he beat Farren Glory on that occasion whilst also giving weight away.
