We head across the water for jumps action today with 4 runners between Cartmel and Market Rasen.

Kicking off the afternoon in Cartmel, NEWBROOK DIAMOND bids to add another string to his bow in the novice hurdle. A winner of his maiden last time out over 2m4f, he had plenty of placed efforts to his name before that and should relish the step up in trip to 2m6f. Sam Ewing takes the ride.

HOWDOYALIKEHERHOME represents us in the Crystal Cup Handicap Hurdle. He looked to be making tracks when falling 4 out in a claiming hurdle the last day. He’s none the worse after that mistake and we’re hoping that he can show a good account of himself in the 2m6f contest. Sam Ewing rides.

In Market Rasen, our first runner of the afternoon is MASTER HAKU in the 2m4f novices hurdle. He’s stepping back down in trip after failing to make an impression over 3 miles back in May. Fresh from a little break, he holds strong claims here under Sean Bowen.

In the feature race, the Summer Plate Handicap Chase, we run RIAAN. Fourth in a valuable handicap chase at the Punchestown Festival back in April over 2m4f, he failed to make an impression in the Galway Plate Trial Handicap Chase.
