After a break from racing yesterday we head over to Bellewstown with 10 runners.
In the claiming race we have JUNGLE PROSE, she is in here for the max claim and thus has max weight. She has been a very good horse for connections but her handicap mark has caught up with her now and she hasn’t been quite as good over fences but she will be the classiest horse in this by some way. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.
In the Red Mills Irish EBF auction maiden hurdle we have WESEEKHERTHERE. She has been running well in maiden company and was 4th the last day. She goes off a really nice weight here compared to others and has cheek pieces fitted again. Jack Kennedy has been booked.
For the 80-102 handicap hurdle we have LAISHANN and DUNLEER PHOENIX. Dunleer Phoenix will have first time cheekpieces on and can hopefully take advantage of a low mark. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride. Laishann is reunited with Nathan Andrews again who will claim 7lbs.
For the feature race of the card we have UTHRED who was very close on yard debut to making a perfect start. He looks in great form and this should can hopefully prove to be another good result for connections with Jack Kennedy taking the ride.
In the Panda Power mares hurdle we have NEW YEAR HONOURS who has made a good return to racing this summer and can hopefully build on that with another good performance here. The trip looks ideal and she should be in the right sphere mark wise. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.
Next up is the first division of the John Purfield Memorial Handicap hurdle where we have BE MY HERO. He has been dancing around the same mark for a few runs now and making use of it. He has been knocking on the door and today could be his day with Jack Kennedy booked to ride.
In Division 2 of the handicap hurdle is UP AND OUT who ran a smasher to be just denied last time out. She went up 3lbs for that effort and hopefully that hasn’t taken too much out of her potential here. This is another ride for Jack Kennedy.
Finally in the ladies pro-am bumper we have YORKSHIRE ESCAPE and YOURENOTTHEBOSSAME. Yourenotthebossame is having her first start on the track. She is a compact filly by Diamond Boy and should come on for the run here and Georgie Benson’s 7lb claim will be a big help. Yorkshire Escape came with a good run the last day before fading. This is another ride for Hannah Smullen who claims 7lbs.
