We start the day with runners in Ballinrobe where FIRST ASCENT goes in the West ‘Howya’ Maiden hurdle over 2m1f. This horse improved for his second run when he was 5th. There is hopefully further improvement from him and Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

We are reduced to just one runner in the Brewin Dolphin rated novices hurdle where we now have last time out winner MANOIR DE MIRANDE. Hopefully he has what it takes to continue to improve and Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

Next up we have SPINOLA BAY in a 2m1f handicap hurdle. He returns here after a small break but the ground might not be in his favour for this event.

COPPOLA had a string of very good results but she seems to have gone a bit wayward. Cheekpieces were attempted and we have Josh Halford in the saddle who claims 7lbs.
