Kicking off the day in Aintree we have STELLAR STORY, this has cut up into a very exciting race where the ground goes slightly against us. Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.
Next up we have BEACON EDGE in the William hill handicap hurdle. This horse always runs his best on away days and the ground will be to his liking. He has blinkers fitted again and Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.
ROMEO COOLIO heads the field for the Grade 1 Top Novices hurdle. He ran a cracker in Cheltenham and coming back in trip may suit him here with Sam Ewing booked to ride.
We’re over the national fences in the Topham where we have THE GOFFER, MARS HARPER and ASH TREE MEADOW. Another horse to run a cracker in Cheltenham was the goffer who has a great shout in this with Danny Gilligan in the saddle. Another one to go well is Mars Harper, he’ll love the ground and will be partnered by Sam Ewing. Keith Donoghue is a great man to have in this race and he will partner Ash Tree Meadow who runs here fresh.
Our next runners are FAMILIAR DREAMS and JACOBS LADDER. Familiar dreams earned valuable blacktype the last day and looks to be on the rise, she will be ridden by Danny Gilligan. Jacobs Ladder chases a treble here with Sam Ewing in the saddle.
Our final runner in Aintree is GRIMAUD. This horse produced a career best last time and can hopefully go well again with Danny in the saddle.
Over in Wexford we have KISH BANK in the maiden hurdle. This horse has been unlucky not to win and we claim off him with James Smith taking away 5lbs.
Having her first start on the track we have COOKE’S LASS. She has a nice pedigree and can hopefully find success in this division under Jordan Gainford.
MACHISMO goes in the rated novice hurdle and we claim off him with Finn Brickley who will take a valuable 7lbs off.
It’s a small field for the beginners chase where we have HARSH and WHATS UP DARLING. Whats up darling had a big fall in Cheltenham when going well and will be ridden by Jordan Gainford. Harsh is having his first run over fences and hopefully he can go well under James Smith.
Rounding off the day we have LIGHTKEEPER who could go well here and can hopefully complete the double under Jordan Gainford
