We have a busy start to Roscommon with three runners in the opening maiden hurdle. DIRECT APPROACH goes out in first time cheekpieces here and he had some nice form and a very promising run on the flat in Dundalk last time out. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride. LUCKY SIGNAL will be partnered by Sam Ewing for the first time but hasn’t showed a huge amount yet and may be better suited to handicaps. Finally we have Gratitudeforgrace who was a small bit improved on her last start. She gets a fillies allowance here and will be ridden by Danny Gilligan.

FORCEONMYOWN is our only runner in the mares maiden hurdle with Bigcitydreams down as first reserve. Forceonmyown hasn’t been able to build on her bumper win but this looks a weak maiden and Jack Kennedy will be in the saddle.

For the feature race we have MISS FOURIE. She is on the hunt for blacktype and her task has become one horse easier as Daddy Long Legs is now a non-runner. Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.

The final race in Roscommon is the mares handicap chase where we have NEON DIAMOND. She was last seen pulling up and has been given a chance to freshen up since then. This looks like it will be her level and she will be ridden by Sam Ewing.

Over in Down Royal we have one runner on the flat in the form of OPEN SECRET. This horse has got some nice form and may have slotted into this off a handy mark. Nina Doherty has been booked to ride and she has a 10lbs claim.
