Our first runner of the afternoon comes from Perth where we have POETIC TWIST in the mares novice hurdle. She looks a bit of cut above the rest. She has a penalty but with Sean Bowen in the saddle that shouldn’t be an issue.

For the novice handicap chase we have SCALPNAGOON who has plenty of experience over fences this season. He is probably a bit low in the ratings here but others are penilised. This will be another ride for Sean Bowen.

Our final Perth runner is JUKE HILL in the 3m handicap chase. He showed some improvement the last day and Perth may be more his style. It looks a competitive race where he should be well in the mix under Sean Bowen.

MINO DES MOTTES and COMBS go in the Lartigue listed handicap hurdle over 2m. Mino had a very smart showing at the Galway festival and will today be ridden by Jack Kennedy. Combs managed to get his nose in front the last day and takes a big step up here and will be ridden by Danny Gilligan.

FIRST ASCENT goes in the 2m4f handicap hurdle which will be his handicap debut. He was a winner last time out in Kilbeggan so this track shouldn’t be an issue. James Smith has been booked to ride and claims 5lbs.

Our final runner of the day is WILL DO in the beginners chase. It’s a reasonably warm event where he will need to improve to feature. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.
