Wexford remains untouched by the heavy rains last night so there is no change in the good ground. NOBLE ROCCO has her third attempt over hurdles and looks more likely to have success in handicap company in the future. Paddy Cleary has been booked to ride and claims 4lbs.
We have a bit of a wait to go for our next runner which is FORCEONMYOWN where she runs off a nice mark against her own sex. On paper she is lacking a bit of form but it looks a weak race where Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.
Our final runner of the day is MA JACKS HILL in this small runner race. He is a bit out of the weights here and the ground will be on the fast side for him. Kevin Healy rides and claims 7lbs. He has struggled since winning on chase debut so hopefully he can regain some form here.
Over in Down Royal where a little bit more rain has fallen we have CLANOKRE LASS who has been in good form at home and hopefully has an each way chance in this event with Josh Williamson riding and claiming 3lbs.
For the Golden Cow handicap hurdle we have 2 runners DAIRY FORCE and GOLDEN WINGS. Dairy Force has been very unlucky to date not to score more but he has very good form and looks poised to take a similar event soon with Jack Kennedy in the saddle. Golden Wings is having her handicap debut here and can hopefully land a blow especially with an ease in the ground. Josh Williamson has been booked to ride and claims 3lbs.
WACKESTONE runs in the maiden hurdle over 2m4f where he will have first time blinkers. He has struggled in the finish of his races over hurdles but a switch to the flat didn’t heed to necessary benefit. Josh Halford has been booked to ride and his claim may prove important.
We double up again in the Denny Hurdle where we’re making the most of the conditions on offer. LOCH CUAN has had a fruitful summer with Two wins and there could still be more hay to be made with him especially with James Smith’s 5lbs claim. Playing the numbers game SAMUI gets away without a penalty and makes a quick return following an excellent reappearance to the track. The flat is his game but he is a stout stayer and is the pick of Jack Kennedy.
Our final runner of the afternoon is SNEDDY EDDIE who was a brilliant winner the last day. He pays for that by way of a penalty but hopefully with Jack in the saddle there is still more fun to be had for new connections.
