Starting off today’s busy day of racing we have MY ELUSIVE MATE in the opening maiden hurdle. She ran well on debut and can hopefully build on that with Josh Halford claiming 7lbs as he now turns conditional.

We have another maiden next where we have PENNY EXPRESS. This gelding has been running well and has had good form. He should like the good ground on offer and will have Danny in the saddle for the first time.

STEDE BONNET goes in the Writech handicap hurdle where he can hopefully go well off the better ground. This looks a very competitive field where Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.

In the feature race of the day the Midlands National we have BOSTON ROVER who will have to deny a 264 day absence here. He likes the better ground and can hopefully come out all guns blazing here. SHANBALLY KID is having his first start for the yard. He has done well in the past and hopefully a change in scenery will have done him good. Danny Gilligan takes the ride.

SCALPNAGOON is our only runner in the beginners chase now. He has plenty of experience at this level and some good form. Hopefully he can piece it all together now with Danny Gilligan in the saddle.

Rounding things off in Kilbeggan we have DOWN AROUND in the 0-100 handicap hurdle. This horse is having his first run for us and has shown that once he is on a good mark he can be competitive. Sam Ewing has been booked to ride.

Kicking off the day in Cork we have HYGGE in the 4yo maiden hurdle. He has been doing very well and has consistently hit the crossbar over hurdles. He should like the ground and it looks a weak renewal. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

Next up is COSMOS D’AINAY in a maiden hurdle. He is returning off the back off a long break. He looks to be a better ground horse and hopefully all can go well on his return where we have Jack Kennedy booked to ride.

It’s a bit of a gap to our next runner, SOUND JUDGEMENT in the 3m maiden hurdle. She returned with a solid run when she was 3rd a few weeks ago. She has first time cheekpieces and the flatter track sound suit better with Jack Kennedy booked to ride.

Our final runner of the day will be BALLYHAHILL in the fillies bumper. She has had two runs over hurdles so far but may far better for the switch to a flat race. Joey Dunne takes the ride and claims 7lbs.
