We have just the one runner today in Royal Ascot and that is in the shape of MORDOR in the Ascot Stakes over 2m4f. This is over a marathon distance for flat horses but the trip shouldn’t be an issue for Mordor. He has run well over this trip in the past in Goodwood to place 2nd. An ease in the ground would be proffered but we have Jamie Spencer in the saddle who will likely deliver him late.
