It’s another busy day in Downpatrick as we have 9 runners. We double up in the opening race where we have OPEN APPROACH and SOUND JUDGEMENT. The later has proven herself to be useful but has been a little unlucky in her last few runs. Josh Williamson has been booked to ride and can hopefully get a good tune out of her in this opportunity maiden hurdle. Open Approach was unlucky the last day to get caught up in a messy mixup where he went around a hurdle rather than over it. Hopefully he can have a clean run here with James Smith in the saddle.

Next up we have EURO AGENT and WESTERN SHORES in a 2m3f maiden hurdle. Western Shores made a nice impression on her debut run and could be set to improve from that 5th place finish with Kevin Sexton booked to ride. Euro Agent is a bit more exposed coming into this but his race experience should benefit him.

MISS MANZOR is our only representative in the mares handicap hurdle. She improved the last day and may just need a few more runs before can get involved at the business end. Kevin Sexton rides and hopefully they can get into the frame.

We have two nice horses in the 2m2f handicap hurdle. CHANCEAWETMORNING makes a quick return and has been in excellent form since joining the team. This will be a nice ride for James Smith. Arch Empire needs to regain his mojo but he seems to be going in the right direction and Ricky Doyle has been booked to ride.

Another horse who has been steadily improving with us is LUMIERE DU LARGE. She is a petite filly who loves this summer ground. Her mark has come down to a workable one and James Smith has been booked to ride.

Our final runner of the day is GOODGOLLYMISSHOLLY in the mares bumper. This will be her first run for us as she returns from a long absence. Harry Swan has been booked to ride and hopefully the pair can get around safely and we can build on a positive performance.

Changing things up we go to Doncaster for two runners on the flat. JUMPINGTHEGUN goes in a small field novice stakes. He is a horse who has improved greatly with his two runs to date and the conditions of this suit. Oisin Orr has been booked to ride and can hopefully finish strongly.

Chasing three on the bounce is BOSTON MAX in the 6f 0-65. This is a bigger field than he has been running in lately and he steps up in trip. This looks very competitive and hopefully he can go well with Oisin Orr booked to ride.
