For the Rated Novice hurdle we have CHANCEAWETMORNING who makes a quick return to the track but hopefully a worthwhile one as there are only three runners in this. James Smith has been booked to ride and claims 5lbs.

Facing a few more competitors in the 2m4f handicap hurdle we have STEDE BONNET who returns after a little freshener. He should like this ground but won’t want much more rain and James Smith has been booked to ride.

SCALPNAGOON looks to get one over the goal today as he has been placed on both his last starts. He has done nothing wrong so far but this looks a competitive race and Kevin Sexton has been booked to ride.
