To start the new season off our first runner is THEFLYINGKING in the 2m1f maiden hurdle. He was a smart looking individual last season where a few things didn’t go his way. We have Kevin Healy in the saddle claiming 7lbs as the younger lads come to the fore.

TRUCKERS CRUISING returns after a freshener and should like this ground. He is a real summer horse and will be another ride for Kevin Healy who claims 7lbs.

It’s a small field for the Pepsi Max hurdle where we have two runners in this 3 mile contest. HE CAN’T DANCE finally got his head in front the last day and will be ridden by James Smith here claiming 5lbs. TIMELESS TREATY steps up to 3 mile here for the first time, he is an honest sort who will be ridden by Kevin Healy.

For the beginners chase we have two runners. STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT is a classy staying hurdler who has already had 2 starts over fences. Hopefully he has the class to win one of these with James Smith booked to ride. SCALPNAGOON should appreciate this ground and also has two previous starts over fences. He will be the mount of Kevin Healy.

HARDY DIAMOND showed a bit of her old spark the last day and should appreciate this drying ground. She has a nice weight in this further bolstered by Kevin Healy’s claim.

Our final runner of the day is TODO BIEN. He ran well on debut in a bumper where the form has worked out. Hopefully the ground will be to his liking and Harry Swan has been booked to ride.
