The first race of the day is the Farmers race where we have two horses. This might not be the most important race of the week but it is one we love to target. Josh Halford has had a brilliant week so far and claims 7lbs off LAST ROUND. He looks very smart in this division and comes here nice and fresh. IRINA’S PATH runs for the same connections and had his first p2p win a fortnight ago. He is in good form and will be ridden by Joey Dunne claiming 7lbs.

KALA CONTI goes in the Grade 2 mares chase. She has danced some big dances this season but her jumping can let her down sometimes. She is a petite girl and hopefully she can end the season on a high under Jack Kennedy.

There are plenty of runners in the Listed novice handicap chase where we have WINGMEN and KISH BANK. Wingmen has bumped into a few good horses this season and this is his first try in a handicap. We claim off him with Josh Williamson taking away 5lbs. Kish Bank is another in recipient of a claimer, this time in the form of Kevin Healy taking away 7lbs. He will need to be at his best here.

We’re reduced to one runner in the Champion Novice hurdle Grade 1. JALON D’OUDAIRES has a big task ahead of him but there have been some interesting results this week. He will be ridden by Jack Kennedy.

For the bumper we have two runners, PREMIER DIVISION and THINKITDONTJINX. Premier Division has run well in two bumpers so has every right to go well here with Harry Swan booked to ride. Thinkitdontjinxit was beaten by Bon Bon Fizz who ran very well the last day and hopefully that form continues to work out with Josh Halford booked to ride.
