Aintree Day 2 & Wexford

It was a fabulous day for the team in Aintree yesterday with two Grade 1 winners! We send out 4 runners today between Aintree and Wexford.

Across the water in Aintree, we run both Conflated and Croke Park in the Topham Handicap Chase over the national fences. CONFLATED was second in the Melling Chase here two years ago and pulled up on his only start in the Grand National last year. He’s a great jumper and took to the fences well last year but he’s probably up against it now as a 12yr old. James Bowen takes the ride. CROKE PARK is having his first run over national fences. A dual Grade 1 winner last season, if he can reignite some of that form then he’s in with a good chance of making an impact under Danny Gilligan.

Back on home soil we send two runners down to Wexford.

DUNLEER CRYSTAL heads down to post in the opener, the auction maiden hurdle. Placed on his two starts over hurdles to date, he should appreciate the step up in trip here today and looks like a good chance for Jack Kennedy to add another winner to his tally.

In the rated novice hurdle we send out AGAMEOFTWOHALVES. A winner of his maiden over 2m3f last time out, he takes a big step up in trip here today as he contests 3 miles for the first time. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.
