We send out 6 runners in Thurles today

SCALPNAGOON makes his debut over fences in the beginners chase. It’s a hot contest with Grade 1 winning Salvator Mundi in the line up but our lad has been schooling well over the larger obstacles at home and is fresh from a little break so will come on for the run. Jack Kennedy rides.

We saddle two in the 2m maiden hurdle. GOOD SHOW is a new recruit for the yard having joined us off the flat from Andrew Balding. A dual flat winner previously for Keith Dalgleish, he has plenty of racing experience under his belt and we’re looking forward to getting him started out over hurdles. Danny Gilligan takes the ride. PLAYTIME has put in two solid runs in hot maiden hurdles. He’s learning to settle and keeps the hood on today. We’re hoping for another good run from him and Jack Kennedy will be in the saddle.

PUMA’S DREAM tries his hand over 2m4f in the maiden hurdle. He improved when stepping up to 2m3f last time out and should take another step forward here today. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

TIMELESS TREATY runs in the rated novice hurdle. A dual hurdle winner back in the summer, he’s been running consistently in handicap company and we’re expecting him to go well here under Jack Kennedy.

Our final runner of the day is THINKITDONTJINXIT in the bumper. He ran out an 8 length winner of his point to point in Ballycrystal back in December and is having his first run since joining the yard. He’s a smart individual and we’ll learn plenty more about him after today’s run. Josh Halford takes the ride.
