We’re off to Punchestown today with 4 runners where our first is STRAIGHT JOHN in the opener. He wears a first time tongue here for a maiden hurdle. He ran well in a 4yo maiden hurdle the last day so has every right to improve here with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

Our next runner is TORPILLE DAGROSTIS in the mares maiden hurdle over 2m3f. She looks a smart filly who has just been a bit unlucky. She has first time cheekpieces here and can hopefully go well with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

HAVEANOTHERTRY goes in the C&G maiden hurdle where he faces only 3 other runners as Springhill Warrior is a non-runner. This looks a warm enough maiden where he 4th last time out and will be ridden by Danny Gilligan.

Finally we have SPINNINGAYARN in the rated novice hurdle. He was a winner last time out and looks like he is going in the right direction. Again it is a warm event where we have Jack Kennedy booked to ride.
