Fairyhouse day 1 and Newbury

We have a huge team going forward for the first day of a two day meeting in Fairyhouse where we have 3 runners in the opening beginners chase. JACOBS LADDER ran well the last day to come home 2nd in Naas and could see further improvement with Jack Kennedy booked. THE WALLPARK probably needed the run the last day and hopefully a line can be put through that with Danny Gilligan in the saddle. Rounding off the trio is LUCKY LYREEN who looks like he will find more favor in handicaps somewhere down the line, Sam Ewing is booked to ride.

SPECULATRIX is a non runner in the mares handicap chase.

We have just the one runner in the Listed chase in the shape of TOUCH ME NOT. The run the last day will put him in the right place for this and its a nice big field where he can get plenty of cover. James Smith has been booked to ride and claims 5lbs.

WENDROCK takes on 5 other runners in the Grade 3 memorial hurdle. It’s a small field where he takes his chance. He may be a little outclassed here but it is worth a chance with Jack Kennedy.

MAVERICK MACK leads the way in the rated novice hurdle. It was great to see him improve the last day and this is the next logical step. It is another small but competitive field where he looks to extend his streak with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

It’s a full field for the maiden hurdle where we have 3 runners. RAVENDARK makes his long-awaited debut. There is a lot of expectation on his shoulders as he is a half brother to Brighterdaysahead, Caldwell Potter and Mighty Potter, Sam Ewing has been booked to ride. RECKLESS had two runs under his belt last season but was a backward type, Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride. SKYLIGHT HUSTLE has a run under his belt this season and should be on point for this. He looks a smart horse with Jack Kennedy booked to ride. Riskaway is now a winner so no longer qualifies for this race.

We sponsor the final two races on the card where the first one, the handicap hurdle we have two runners. TIMELESS TREATY was unlucky to unseat the last day but looks a nice smart horse based off last season. Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride. SAN HILARIO has first time cheekpieces here and should be all the better for having had a run. Danny Gilligan has been booked to ride.

Finally in the Willie Elliott memorial bumper we have 3 runners. GENEROUS RISK looked a smart horse last season and we claim off him with Josh Halford taking away 7lbs. KEEP HIM COMPANY was a point to point winner and makes his track debut with Josh Williamson claiming 5lbs. Lastly we have PREMIER DIVISION who will be sporting some very snazzy silks as he makes his debut for a new syndicate.

Over in Newbury THREE CARD BRAG goes in a brilliant field for what used to be known as The Hennessy. It was brilliant to see him win the last day but might be a bit wrong in the weights here. He looks to be improving and Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride.
