Tramore and Down Royal

We have four runners taking their chance today. Three of which make the journey to the National Hunt card in Tramore and one which travels up to Down Royal for the flat meeting.

JERSEY DES BROSSES is our first runner in the first race at Tramore today. He makes his debut over fences, having been disappointing not to get off the mark over hurdles, hopefully the larger obstacles can bring out an improved performance. Sam Ewing is in the saddle.

TWO BECOME ONE is our second runner of the day in the “Walsh King Accountants Mares Maiden Hurdle”. She makes her third start over hurdles and steps up in trip today. She may well have needed her comeback run after almost a year off the track. She has Danny Gilligan in the saddle and fingers crossed she can make a good account of herself.

BOWENSONFIRE is our final runner of the day in Tramore. He returns after a little break and is encountering better ground today. He is joint highest rated in the field, is in great form at home and has Finn Brickley taking 7lbs off his back.

Our sole runner that heads to Down Royal is SAMUI. He lines up in the “His Majesty’s Plate (Listed Race)” over 2m. He has been a great dual purpose horse, placed at this level in the past and the highest rated horse in the field today. He is drawn in stall 3 and has the assistance of Declan McDonagh.
