We start the day off with BEACON EDGE in the claiming hurdle where we claim 7lbs off him with Josh Halford. He is a Grade 2 winner on his best day and this looks a very open race where he has a good opportunity.

GRIMAUD goes in the rated hurdle where he hopefully has a decent chance. It’s a closely bunched group where we have Sam Ewing in the saddle. Fingers crossed he can go well.

It’s a small field for the maiden hurdle where we have SON OF ANARCHY. It looks a weak competition where he can hopefully take advantage of the conditions with Mark Walsh in the saddle.

For the 3 mile hurdle we have ASH TREE MEADOW and SO DES FLOS. Ash Tree Meadow is reverting back to hurdle today after running over fences. He is a talented sort who can go well with Danny Gilligan. So Des Flos might be a little out of his depth here but can run well under Sam Ewing.

BUTCHERS BILL goes in the handicap hurdle where we claim off him with Carl Millar who takes off 5lbs. Hopefully he can go well.
