Wexford, Navan and USA Runners

Over in Navan we have just the one horse entered, Benz and he is a first reserve so we will have to wait and see if he gets in. Declan McDonogh is booked to ride just in case.

Back in Wexford we kick off with BUDDY RICH in the Poolcourt Rated Hurdle. Buddy Rich makes the switch back to hurdling after a good season of chasing. He is 17lbs lower in ratings over the smaller obstacles and could be something to take advantage of here and Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

For the memorial novice chase we have ASH TREE MEADOW. This horse didn’t let himself down when stepped up in company when he ran well to come home 4th. He steps straight up to novice chasing here and will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

COOL CROI goes for the mares flat race to round off the card. She has decent form and should be able to put her experience to good use and will have Jamie Codd in the saddle.

We also head stateside this evening with BURN THE EVIDENCE taking her chances at the Iroquois Steeplechase meeting at Percy Warner Park, Nashville. This is a meeting in which we have previously had luck at and we love heading to the USA for racing. Burn The Evidence schooled really well at the track yesterday under Davy Russell and she will be having her first run under the new ownership of Del Rio Racing LLC in the Filly & Mares Hurdle Stakes. Her race can be live streamed from the Iroquois Steeplechase website. We wish them all the very best of luck.
