Tipperary and Perth

Today we are in Scotland and way down in Tipperary.

Our first race of the day is the Edinburgh Gin Classic maiden hurdle where we have the well fancied KNOCKNACREE who unfortunately unseated his rider close home when running a nice race on debut. Hopefully he can shape well again here with Sean Bowen booked to ride.

BODHISATTVA goes in the novices chase over 3m. He suits these sorts of races and hopefully has a bit in hand. Sean Bowen has been booked to ride and hopefully the pair get on well in this small field.

NEIGH BOTHA had the option of running in Ireland but got balloted out so made the relatively short journey to Perth instead. Hopefully his Irish form stands up well here and he will have Sean Bowen in the saddle.

It was great to see CALICO get her head in front the last day after so many near misses. She should be in warm order for this and will again have Sean Bowen in the saddle.

The well related MRS PAISLEY is seeking a maiden victory and she has dropped to what we hope is a workable mark. This is a small field where she will have her best opportunity. Sean Bowen is booked to ride.

Last in Perth we have UP AND OUT who returned to action with a very commendable 4th, she will be well able for the quick return here and is ridden by Sean Bowen.

SAMUI blossomed on debut in bumper company and then ran in Grade 2 company in Aintree. This will be his first start over hurdles where he can hopefully go well for connections. Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride.

Spoiled Rotten is now a non runner.

PRESENT SOLDIER has a first time tongue tie in the maiden hurdle over 3m. He has nice form and is unexposed at the minute. Head gear should help and Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride.

Lastly in Tipp we have TOWNHALL PENNY who was a fantastic 2nd last time out just over three weeks ago. She is right at the bottom of the weights here and has Ben Harvey in the saddle claiming a further 5lbs off.
