Perth and Galway

Today we head over to Scotland and the West Coast to Galway.

Our first runners come from our Scottish raid where THE FRIDAY MAN leads the way in the Novices hurdle over 2m and Sean Bowen is booked to ride. This looks a very competitive race but based on his form we hope he should go well here.

Next up is HERMAN CLERMONT who has become a regular here and has become a reformed character since joining the raiding squad. He chases a three timer a whilst coming up against two other rivals. He has been put up 9lbs since his last run but with such a small field it is worth taking the chance. Sean Bowen has been booked to ride.

Finally we have GIFT OF KINGS in the handicap hurdle where once more we have Sen Bowen in the irons. He unseated the last day over jumps but has had a run on the flat since. Hopefully he can run well for connections.

Over in Galway we have a big team descending on Ballybrit as we send forward seven runners. Our first runner comes in the opener where THE LAST MARDI looks to build on his first maiden hurdle start where he was third by only a short margin in Killarney. Davy Russell has been booked to ride here.

PLATINUMCARD sits at the top of the weights for the handicap hurdle and will have it all to do from that position. Davy Russell is the man on board and hopefully he can bring it all together.

For the Deacy Gilligan Hurdle we have DUFFLE COAT ran well the last day and has the blinkers back on here. This looks a very hot race where we have Davy Russell booked to ride. EVERYBREATHYOUTAKE also goes in this and has a benefit of having a run after a long layoff. Hopefully he can improve from that and Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

For Division I of the handicap hurdle we have TOWNHILL PENNY. It was great to get a win out of her and she was put up 5lbs for that and maintains that. She looks in a good position to run well here and has Davy Russell in the saddle.

For the Beginners Chase we have INDIGO BREEZE who was a faller the last day when running well. He has had time to get over that fall and will appreciate the slight ease in going we’ve had. Davy Russell has been booked to ride.

For the bumper we have SUNDAY SOLDIER who ran ok on debut but should be in a better place here with Jamie Codd in the saddle. Again, this looks like another competitive race where hopefully our horse can improve
