With the rain putting stop to racing at Down Royal this weekend we just have two runners in the USA today.

In Callaway Garden, Georgia, we run CALICO in the Aflac Supreme Hurdle. She travelled over to the States in early October in preparation for the Harry E. Harris 4yo Hurdle at Far Hills which she won in fine style under Jack Kennedy. Today’s race looks a hotter contest but she has plenty of experience under her belt and should show another good account of herself with Ricky Doyle in the saddle.

Over in Monpelier, Virginia, we saddle SAY GOODBYE in the Marion Dupont Scott Memorial Hurdle. She’s another who travelled over in October for racing at Far Hills where she took the Peapack Mares & Fillies Hurdle in a great fashion under Jack Kennedy. Today’s contest is once again restricted to Mares & Fillies only and she looks the standout horse. Parker Hendriks will take the ride.
