We send runners out at Killarney and Tipperary today.
In the picturesque Killarney, our first runner of the afternoon is GORTMILLISH in the Tote Guarantee Available On Course & Tote.ie Rated Novice Hurdle. He is unbeaten in his two starts this season and although he carries top weight here today he stands a good chance of being involved at the business end under Jordan Gainford.
In the Follow @ToteRacing On Twitter Handicap Hurdle we run MINNIE BEETS. She was well beaten at Tramore last time out on her handicap debut. She steps up in trip to 2m7f for the first time today and we’re hoping she can show a better account of herself. Jordan Gainford rides.
Our final runner in Killarney is TOWNHILL PENNY in the beginners chase. She put in a good round of jumping on her chasing debut at Ballinrobe last time out and will have certainly come on for the experience. She is not without a chance of finishing in the placings under Jordan Gainford.
Over in Tipperary our first runner is SAMUI in the Grade 3 Novice Hurdle. He put in a gutsy performance last time out to land the Lartigue Hurdle at Listowel under Danny Gilligan and it looks as though there is still plenty of improvement to come from him. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.
We send two representatives out in the Grade 3 Horse & Jockey Hotel. FILS D’OUDAIRIES has racked up two impressive victories this summer, most notably when taking the Grimes Hurdle here back in July and beating Sharjah. He does carry a penalty here today but is still capable of running a big race under Mark Walsh. PARTY CENTRAL is a smart mare who has been running both over hurdles and on the flat this summer. She didn’t quite fire in the Galway hurdle but can’t be ruled out of making an impact in today’s race. Jack Kennedy rides.
Our final runner is ROYAL EAGLE in the Racing TV Handicap Hurdle. She was placed at the Galway Festival before scoring at Tramore by 3 lengths. She’s been running consistently both on the flat and over hurdles for connections this summer and has a good chance today if she handles the softer ground conditions. Jack Kennedy rides.
