Killarney Day 2 runners

It was great to bring a winner home last night all the way from Killarney. They definitely make the journey worth while.

Today we start off with GLENGLASS in the maiden hurdle. This is a big tall imposing horse who has been given plenty of time to mature into himself. He was a good second the last day and has Jack Kennedy in the saddle here.

Next is the Sliabh Luachra Hurdle over 2m4f. THE BOSSES OSCAR continues on his switch back from chasing to hurdling and this is his first start since Cheltenham. On ratings he is the one to beat and will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle. SOVIET PIMPERNEL makes his debut for us and he comes to us with some very good form. He was second last time out over fences and will also make a switch back to hurdles with Jordan Gainford in the saddle.

WHAT AN OCEAN goes in the mares maiden hurdle. She ran a cracker the last day to finish runner up in a similar event and this looks another wide open contest where Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

For the handicap hurdle over 2m6f we have ARAMAX who is hard to assess but make a switch back to hurdles like some of our other runners. Mark Walsh has been booked to ride.

For the Grade 3 we have SAMCRO who looks to defend his crown in this race. He ran a cracker in the English Grand National but it was just a bit too far. He comes back in distance here and this is off better ground and he will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

We have three runners for the handicap chase over 3m2f. GLENLOE again ran with credit the last day and is the mount of Jack Kennedy. TORYGRAPH has been a bit disappointing but there is still hope that there is something waiting under the bonnet. Finally we have RAGNAR LODBROK who has some good winter form and was unlucky to fall the last day but was fine for it and has Jordan Gainford in the saddle.

For the Hunters Chase we have THE CREADAN ROGUE who will be trying his hand at hunter chases for the first time. He will have a tongue tie on also for the first time and Barry O’Neill in the saddle.

Finally in the bumper we have THE FRIDAY MAN. He will be coming here fresh and has some good form lines to his name so far. His experience should help and he has Barry O’Neill in the saddle.
