Killarney and Kilbeggan

It’s a busy day for the team as we head to Killarney and Kilbeggan this evening for a double jumps meeting.

In Killarney, we start the evening with KYOGO in the 3yo Maiden Hurdle. He finished 3rd over course and distance on his hurdling debut back in July and will have certainly come on for the run. We’re hoping he’ll show another good account of himself again this evening with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

In the SP Or Better Guaranteed handicap hurdle we send two runners down to post. SHECOULDBEANYTHING has been the model of consistency for connections and ran a great race to finish 5th on her handicap debut in a valuable pot at the Galway Festival. She should be in with a good chance today with Jack Kennedy in the saddle. SET POINT also ran a huge race at the Galway Festival to finish 7th in the same handicap hurdle as Shecouldbeanything. Again, he could be a major player here today with Carl Millar in the saddle claiming a valuable 7lbs.

STUZZIKINI has been running consistently on the flat recently and switches codes today to take on 5 rivals in the novice hurdle. His last two hurdling starts has seen him finish runner up over both 2 miles and 3 miles so the trip so be no issue for him here today and he looks likely to be involved at the business end with first time blinkers on. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

THE FRIDAY MAN is our final runner in Killarney in the beginners chase. He has been placed on all 3 starts over fences to date but was well beaten last time out when running over 3m1f. He should appreciate the step back in trip and can’t be ruled out of finishing in the frame today. Jack Kennedy rides.

Over in Kilbeggan it’s great to see Jordan Gainford back riding today. Our first runner of the evening is NOTTODAYBOBO in the maiden hurdle. He’s had 3 respectable runs in maiden hurdles to date and wears a first time tongue tie today. He should run a good race for connections, Pioneer Racing, and Jordan takes the ride.

SHAJAK represents us in the novice hurdle. He was a winner of his maiden hurdle at Limerick before switching to run on the flat at the Galway festival where he put in a solid effort to finish third in a valuable handicap. He steps up in trip here today to 2m3f which should suit him and he has a major chance under Mark Walsh.

In the 3m1f maiden hurdle we run GINNETS GIRL. She has been consistent over a variety of trips and steps up to 3m1f for the first time today. This looks a good opportunity for her to get her head in front today and Jordan Gainford takes the ride.

Our final runner in Kilbeggan is QUANTUM REALM in the handicap chase. He ran a huge race to finish second in the Galway Blazers at the festival and based on that form he should be capable of getting his head in front today. Jordan Gainford will be in the saddle.
