Cork Runners

After a busy week in Galway we head to Cork today with 5 runners.

Our first runner of the day is SILVER BREEZE in the mares maiden hurdle. A winner of her bumper at Wexford on her penultimate start, she was well held on her hurdling debut at Cork last time out. She should have come on plenty for the experience and we’re hoping she can step forward from that run today. Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

BENZ represents us in the Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle. He has modest form on the flat and took well to his hurdle on his debut in Tramore. He should appreciate the step up in trip to 2m2f and Corey McGivern takes the ride claiming a useful 4lb.

WICKLOW FLYER ran well last time out in Limerick when stepping up in trip to 2m4f and wearing first time blinkers. He keeps the head gear on today in the Kanturk handicap hurdle and if he puts in a solid performance like last time out then he is capable of finishing in the frame. Jack Kennedy rides.

Our last runners of the day are in the Corkracecourse.ie Hurdle. THE BOSSES OSCAR got back to winning ways last time out when beating stable mate Dallas Des Pictons in Limerick. He should appreciate the step up in trip to 3 miles but will have to put in a better performance here today if he is going to beat the favourite Stratum. DALLAS DES PICTONS also represents us in this 3 mile contest. He is a long time without a win and looks to be up against it here today in this hot contest.
