We were unsuccessful at Dundalk yesterday but some of the horses put in nice performances. Today we head to Clonmel where the ground has changed since declarations to soft.

In the opener we have DOUBLE DATING who has a run under her belt already which will have given her great experience. She has been going well at home and can hopefully find improvement from that first outing with Jordan Gainford in the saddle

CLODDERS DREAM showed great improvement to finish 4th the last day and looks like a horse who should continue to improve with his racing. This looks like a competitive race where he can cut his teeth and test his mettle. Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride.

For the feature race of the day, the Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novices hurdle we have SEARCH FOR GLORY. He was an impressive winner over this trip in his point to point so the trip should be no issue. He ran very well at Christmas behind the now Grade 1 winner Good Land. Jordan Gainford has been booked to ride.

Be My Hero has been non-runnered due to the change in going.

Our final runner at Clonmel is PATS CHOICE in the Monksgrange Beginners chase over 2m4f. This horse ran well first time over fences in Down Royal and the ground looks to be back where he wants it. This will be another ride for Jordan Gainford.

Over in Sandown we have an exciting runner in the shape of DEEPLY SUPERFICIAL who is in the hunt of blacktype. She put up a very good performance the last day against the boys in Graded 2 company. This will be her first run since a wind op and she’ll have a first time tongue tie and Davy Russell in the saddle.
